Dear Aspirants, I hope you are all doing well. So, State Selection Board, Department of Higher Education, Odisha invites online application for the post of Junior Assistant and Junior Stenographer. These posts are contractual in nature, but likely to be permanent in the near future. Eligible and interested candidates may apply Online only through the official website of the State Selection Board, Department of Higher Education, Odisha.
Vacancy Details -
• There are total 125 vacancies for the post Junior Assistant. Out of which 63 posts are for general unreserved category. 30 seats are reserved for ST candidates,20 seats are reserved for SC candidates. While, 12 seats are reserved for OBC/ SEBC Candidates.
University wise vacancy Details :
• Shree Jagannath Sanskrit Viswavidyalaya, Puri- 15 posts
• Utkal University, Bhubaneswar- 46 posts
• Rama Devi Women’s University, Bhubaneswar- 20 posts
• Ravenshaw University, Cuttack- 19 posts
• Khallikote University, Berhampur- 08 posts
• Berhampur University- 17 posts.
There are total 11 vacancies for the post Junior Assistant. Out of which 8 posts are for general unreserved category. 2 seats are reserved for ST candidates,1 seats are reserved for SC candidates.

• Utkal University- 05 posts
• Berhampur University- 03 posts
• Ravenshaw University- 02 posts.
Eligibility Criteria —
• The Aspirant must possess the minimum qualification of Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University.
• Aspirants must done their Diploma in Computer Application from any recognized Institution.
• Additional qualification of Stenography with speed of 80 words is essential.
• The aspirants should be able to speak, read and write Odia language fluently and must have passed at least an examination in Odia language equivalent to M. E School standard conducted by the B.S.E., Odisha.
Age Limit:
• 21-32 Years as on 01/03/2020
• Upper age limit can be relaxed as per Government norms.
Pay Scale:
₹8880 per month initially in the 1st year for both the posts.
Selection Process :
Selection of eligible candidates will be done Based on Written Examination, and Skill Test. Details of the exam might be found in the detailed advertisement.
