So, Indian Army invites online application for different posts only for eligible candidates of districts of Hisar,Jind,Fatehabad and Sirsa in Haryana. These posts are permanent in nature. Eligibility Criteria -


• Soldier General Duty -
Aspirants should done their 10th Exam or Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each and every subject.For the Boards who follows grade system, minimum of D grade (33-40) in each and every subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.

• Indian Gorkha (All category) -
Dear Aspirants,educational qualification for this post is required which is applicable in their category. For more details you can see the Official Advt.

• Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical -
Aspirants should done their 10+2/Intermediate exam in any stream with 60% aggregate and should score 50% in each and every subject. Candidates have to secure 50% marks in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th.

Age Limit:

• 17.5-21 Years for the post of Soldiers General Duty.

• 17.5-23 years for the post of  Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical

Physical Standards:


Soldier General Duty :
Candidates should have 170 cm height; 77 cm Chest (unexpanded); 82 cm Chest (expanded); and should have weight 50Kg.

Soldier General Duty (Oustees of Bhakar Dam):
Candidates should have 163 cm height; 77 cm Chest (unexpanded); 82 cm Chest (expanded); and should have weight 48Kg.

Indian Gorkha (All Category) :
Candidates should have 157 cm height; 77 cm Chest (unexpanded); 82 cm Chest (expanded); and should have weight 48Kg.

Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical:
Candidates should have 162 cm height; 77 cm Chest (unexpanded); 82 cm Chest (expanded); and should have weight 50Kg.

Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical (Oustees of Bhakar Dam) :
Candidates should have 162 cm height; 77 cm Chest (unexpanded); 82 cm Chest (expanded); and should have weight 48Kg.

  • Aspirants must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should have possessed high colour vision. Aspirants must have good mental and physical health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
  • Physical Standards can be relaxed according to Government norms.


Selection Procedure :


Selection of eligible candidates will be done through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and also through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
